Hi !

I am

  • a beader, a crafter, a dreamer.
  • living in Japan.
  • in love with colors.
  • amazed at how beauty seems to hide in even the most simple things.
  • trying to find my own balanced way.

Thank you for paying a visit to my little haven !

Hope you’ll enjoy the place and have a pleasant time here …!

    Hi
Thanks for popping into my blog! Now I am trying to work out who you are and if I know you 🙂 I love your new bag, so cool. I have some Ikea fabric stashed too that I am planning at least one bag for.

Keep in touch and have a great Christmas back home, lucky you!!

    Hello!

I am a crafter living in Kent, UK. Actually I am a secretary working in an Actuarial office in London but that just pays the bills! I make greetings cards and started off messing about with photos and now, after almost 4 years, am into all sorts. I sell my cards to family, friends and colleagues and to a couple of local sports clubs. I will never be rich doing this but my life is richer all the time I am into this! I so missed my vocation – I’m turning 50 this year which is unbelieveable enough but my brain is still in its 20’s!

I was lucky enough to get a trip to Tokyo last year, visiting a friend who was working out there for a while, and while there I discovered Washi and just fell in love with it. I spent a lovely long time a Itoya – is that the name, a very large 6 or 7 storey art/stationery store in the centre of Tokyo. The papers they have in there are delicious – beauty personified – I just can’t stop stroking them! (You probably already know that though!) Anyway, I often google images for hand made cards, not to copy ideas but to get ideas and have come across your lovely window card with the Washi papers. I was very surprised to see that you have been generous enough to attach the templates and have downloaded them already. Thank you so much! I’m having a day off tomorrow so I am planning to get industrious! (My home email is jayne.b.burton@btinternet.com)

Thank you so much for sharing your good work.

    With very best wishes.

    Jayne Burton
